Ottawa, Canada, October 12, 2015 – Excelocity announces the availability of its world’s smallest and most cost effective WiFi module. The WiFi module plugs into the existing Analog Telephony Adapter (ATA) products which are already proven to be world’s smallest, most feature rich and cost effective products. The WiFi equipped ATA FXSATA11-3232W, one of the first in the world, allows to  use the VoWiFi capability for transporting VoIP calls between the ATA and the other network equipments such as WiFi Home Gateways and WiFi Routers.

The Wifi enabled ATA eliminates the need for running Ethernet cable between the ATA and the network equipment with the main benefit of enabling the customer to place the ATA in the building closer to the phone equipment. The product will be showcased at CES 2016 at Las Vegas at Excelocity partners’ booths. A number of our customers including Service Providers as well as Equipment Manufacturers are testing the products and have given good reviews after their preliminary tests. The products are built with Excelocity’s award winning V2IP engine adapted to DSP Group’s System on a Chip (SoC) DSPs. The solution allows the Excelocity customers to acquire the full turn-key solution (including hardware) from us in addition to  support and maintenance.
